Account and data deletion

Delete your A Backpacker account

You can delete your A Backpacker account and the personal data associated with it at any time from the app. If you cannot access the app, you can also contact us for help.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open A Backpacker and sign in.
  2. Open Settings and choose Delete Account.
  3. Review the warning and confirm deletion.

If you cannot sign in, email us from the address registered to your account. Include your name and mobile number so we can verify ownership.

Get deletion help

What will be deleted

After verification, we will delete your account and personal information associated with it, including your profile, preferences, messages, favourites and activity linked to the account. Records that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting or regulatory reasons may be kept only for the required period and then deleted or anonymised.
