Delete your BackpackerHire account

You can request deletion of your BackpackerHire account and the personal data associated with it at any time.

How to request deletion

  1. Email us from the email address registered to your BackpackerHire account.
  2. Use the subject BackpackerHire account deletion request.
  3. Include the name of your business or account so we can identify it.

We may ask you to confirm account ownership before completing the request.

What will be deleted

After verification, we will delete your BackpackerHire account and personal information associated with the account, including your profile and business listing information. Content or records that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting or regulatory reasons may be kept only for the required period and then deleted or anonymised.
